Wow, ok, so this is actually the first blog that I've ever made with this Wix account because I switched hosting plan providers, domain managers and did other techy things I don't fully understand back in May and shifted my focus to Patreon.com/ljeh where people can sponsor me and my efforts and get rewarded with added layers of access based on patronage level.
To catch you up on the time between posts, I helped with the HUB4HumanKIND Festival in May and volunteered or vended at several more throughout the season: SoulSpark Festival, Sonic Springs Festival, Coming Home Festival, Gussapolooza Music Festival, and HUB4HK Equinox Soulstival made up my 2024 Festival Lineup List.
My Beloved Papa Bob (Hamilton) fell on June 9, breaking his hip, and by June 22 he was gone. I have remained in the house he designed and will move in the spring with my cat when the farm sells. In the mean time it now feels like my writing cottage where I get to work diligently on world domination from the sitting room with a view of the continuous train of silage trips between concessions that several boys in the farm make day after day throughout the year.

What I am most excited about is helping other artists save themselves a lot of the dead-end paths that myself and others have taken by not facing my own stuff sooner (or even noticing it until it's too late) by using narrative therapy and a variety of modalities and tools to move through the transformation of self-concept process while crafting a reality that will serve us best.
Self-concept is bigger than self-image because it encompasses the whole idea of what it means to be you whereas an image is just a snapshot of a moment that can be portrayed for a short period but cannot be hidden long term.
It's vital we start to recognize how this self-concept is also playing out in the communities that we find ourselves part of because while we may have thought we could leave certain aspects of the past in our history, we all know people who know people with direct connection to those 'forgotten' memories.
The beautiful and horrific thing about community is that you can't undo what's been done after it has been done; the stain will either always be there or need to be cut out by leaving that group and striking out to find a new and unrelated group full of people with whom no relationships have been established yet and so no harm has been done either. Setting out with a blank slate means being able to reinvent ourselves how we wish to be seen in this world instead of how we've always been defined.
What I am finding by joining more communities of interest is that many of the circles overlap and not all mergers are comfortable. But the truth is meant to be worn plainly and it's time for us to own our underworld stuff so it doesn't own us.
And now that I know how to publish a blog to my website again I will do better at sharing weekly updates of all the posts I make to Patreon.com/ljeh
As part of that, I am also launching an INNER Circle SPECIAL Practice MASTERmind with weekly calls Thursdays at 8-9am EST. Get the passcode by Sponsoring me on Patreon and know just how grateful I am for your support! :)
I am presently narrating my "Levelling the Playing Field: Ode to L'auralease" course from Udemy and will post there so that I can rearrange all the parts under what I am calling the REAL Story of ROME which will become book #2. Listen to Part 1 here.
You are getting to see me pulling together a book from a course of emails, Album project with 44 songs already under our belt and a documentary style video-series that are telling the story of how we did it as we do it and call it done.
I am also narrating "The Game of Life & How To Play It" by Florence Scovel Shinn and will share that to Patreon once it is published as well; what a treat.
Last Thursday was an event of note because a friend (Angel Hamilton) told me that the Fairy Creek documentary she'd helped with was premiering in Toronto and several of my friends were either at the Blockade in 2020 or had stories connected to it so a ride in the BubbleBus to the theatre was arranged and off we went. Yet the story doesn't stop there, it only marked the start of our reinvestment into this cause. Get involved and let's end the systemic abuse and bullying happening there.
There is more to this story... subscribe to Patreon or Emails & you'll hear more.
